In the early Fall of 2001, I established the consulting and executive search firm of Bobbie Stone International, LLC and launched its opening on September 25, 2001. After five years of planning – and exactly two weeks after the 9/11 attacks – I knew that I had to find “meaning in this moment”.

My transition from the corporate world to becoming an entrepreneur was not without risk but I believed that my national and international background in research, recruiting and management with leading executive search organizations provided the crucible of experiences, insight, and confidence to create a company dedicated to serving the special staffing needs of healthcare, non-profits and philanthropies.

I applied what I learned from Norman Crafts, President of NYC-based Avery Crafts Associates. Hired as a Researcher in insurance industry executive search, I was involved in developing new national and international client and partner relationships which included opening a new West Coast Office and affiliate Partners in London, England.

The insight gained from John Lucht (OBM), the “Guru” of executive search and President of The John Lucht Consultancy, who mentored me for a decade, guided my Research talents and resulted in my career shift.

Since its founding, it has been my objective to build my business by setting and following our course to achieve and maintain high standards and key values of performance, integrity, confidentiality, honesty, and the personal touch. Our business activities are guided by professional team leaders with a collective 65 years of executive search and corporate line experience.
